Senior Operations Manager, Supply Chain

As Senior Operations Manager, Supply Chain, you will own a pivotal role in owning and advancing our supply chain infrastructure to meet the escalating demands of our expanding business. Your expertise will drive significant enhancements in our supply chain metrics and support strategic decision-making processes critical for our growth. As the first Supply Chain hire, you will join the Central Operations team and report directly to the Head of Central Operations, and get to build from the ground up. You will work collaboratively across multiple teams at The Rounds including Operations, Merchandising, Marketing and Product to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals. You will directly manage the relationship with Local Operations leaders across markets. This is a high impact and high visibility role that will enable the team to make the best informed decisions to ensure we deliver an incredible experience to our Members.

You will:

• Elevate our supply chain systems to accommodate the scaling needs of our business efficiently.
• Monitor and enhance key supply chain metrics, including throughput, fill rate, waste reduction, and inventory accuracy.
• Facilitate strategic supply chain decisions, such as product localization vs. centralization, inventory management system (IMS) upgrades or migration, and warehouse process improvements and training.
• Own inventory management to ensure maximum product availability for The Rounds Members.
• Optimize purchasing decisions to enhance product margins while considering warehouse storage constraints.
• Implement centralized production planning to balance batch production with storage capacity and product shelf life.
• Have an ownership mindset, pushing initiatives from ideation to implementation while working with in-market operations to ensure success.
• Leverage our unique reverse logistics capabilities to increase supply chain throughput and efficiency sustainably.

You are:

• An analyical thinker with execution excellence with 5+ years of experience in supply chain and/or warehouse operations, ideally in a high-growth consumer startup.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proven ability in managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• An excellent communicator, adept at building relationships across all organizational levels.
• Background in data-driven decision-making, with a keen eye for detail.
• Passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to solving significant challenges.
• Self-motivated and capable of driving projects to completion.
• Proficient in SQL (intermediate level or higher).
• Experienced with Airtable or equivalent Inventory Management Systems (IMS).
• Skilled in process scripting and automation.
