Senior Optimization Analyst
Job Description
*PLEASE NOTE: This position is hybrid (3 days in office per week) and requires the candidate to be located in or near Seattle, WA or Denver, CO.
POSITION
The Senior Optimization Analyst is responsible for continuously improving the user experience and improving conversion at every step of the funnel. This person will be responsible for using site analytics to identify opportunities; develop, prioritize and schedule testing hypotheses and ensure all tests are executed accurately and as per plan, and own the reporting and communication of results of these efforts across our products. The person in this role should have experience leading optimization programs, technical expertise in test execution, knowledge of proper test setup and hygiene, and a strong understanding of best practices in the web flow design.Â
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the strategy and execution for testing the web form flows and landing pages for all products with focus on improving conversion rate at each step to maximize revenue.
- Quantify revenue potential for all tests; prioritize these tests to optimize for strategic initiatives as well as incremental revenue.
- Collaborate with the creative team to create designs, partner with the technical lead to set up, QA, and launch all A/B tests.
- Use technical knowledge and testing best practices to ensure optimal test setup and performance.Â
- Maintain dashboards to allow monitoring for unusual trends and work with teams to resolve in a timely manner.Â
- Understand test variables and what drives short and long-term fluctuations in results. Actively cut off or extend tests based on consistent monitoring of results.
- Ensure all test results and recaps are completed and shared in a timely manner, and communicate results effectively by telling the story behind data.Â
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required along with practical, applied business experience in testing and data analysis. MBA or MS in a quantitative field like Economics, Statistics, etc. a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience driving strategy and execution for the conversion flow and landing page optimization for a high trafficked website (over million visitors a month) using A/B and Multivariate testing.Â
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc)
- Proficiency with data platforms and applications like Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Airflow, FiveTran, DBT.
- Comfortable understanding HTML and JavaScript code and experience working with front-end web developers on website optimization projects (single page application like angular or backbone experience a big plus).
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage the needs of multiple partners
- Ability to communicate technical or detailed information effectively to nontechnical audiences

The pay range for this position in Colorado/New York/California is $91,000-$128,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
