As our newest team member, you’ll be at the center of Expel’s partner marketing magic. From brainstorming innovative GTM concepts and events with partners to coordinating logistics and managing the nitty-gritty details, you’ll play a crucial role in making sure our partner events run smoothly and effectively. What you can do for Expel
- Work together: Partner with regional and national marketers to prioritize and accomplish event and marketing tasks effectively. This includes handling event orders, managing shipping logistics, and creating detailed event briefs, ensuring that every aspect of our partner events run smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing team to develop creative strategies and materials that improve attendance and engagement at partner events. Your innovative approaches and targeted messaging will help ensure our events attract and captivate the right audiences.
- Optimize post-event processes: You’ll manage the post-event lead process, ensuring timely and effective follow-up. Additionally, you'll participate in post-event evaluations, analysis of return on investment, and reporting, providing valuable insights and suggestions to improve our future event performance.
- Explore and recommend partner marketing innovations: You’ll research the latest trends and innovations in partner marketing and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing our strategies. Your goal will be to help Expel stay ahead of the curve and continuously improve our event and partner experiences.
- Deliver Exceptional on-site support: You’ll provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance. By troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring a smooth event experience, you’ll contribute to making each event a success.
What you'll bring with you
- A Bachelor’s degree or compelling story and 5+ years working in partner marketing within B2B software/SaaS business
- Understanding of a PRM system, preferably Zift as well as CRM software like Salesforce.com
- The ability to work in Google suite, efficiently
- Eagerness to grow partner marketing experience
- Developing business professional skills like project management, time management, communications and organizational skills
- Curiosity about analyzing data, creative problem-solving and adaptability
- Great teammate mentality, but with a self-starter attitude
Additional notes
The base salary range for this role is between $106,100 USD and $153,800 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
While our office is located in Herndon, VA, we are open to those based remotely.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.
