Job Summary:

As Senior Payroll Analyst, you will process U.S. and foreign payroll, including but not limited to the oversight of running payroll (bi-weekly, monthly, off-cycle), audit tax locality, garnishment functionality, and payroll tax quarterly, and year-end. The role requires GL imports and uploads, Freshdesk monitoring, compliance with FLSA, SAP, and accurately processing payroll in a timely manner with compliance with federal, state, local payroll wage and hourly laws and regulations. As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will apply your knowledge of locality, state, and federal laws and tax compliance. You will also apply your relationship building skills to effectively collaborate with all of HR and support our US subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain payroll records for all subsidiaries within US.

• Ensure payroll file is accurately prepared prior to each payroll.

• Verify business rules and employee inputs are set in the system accordingly.

• Support the department and work effectively as a team, as needed.

• Regularly conduct payroll self-audit.

• Ensure quality service delivery and accuracy.

• Discuss best practices with LG payroll processing to assure all compliance is met and processed accurately.

• Maintain payroll information confidentiality.

• Review and update payroll rules associated with earnings, deductions, taxes, etc.

• Make process and rule update recommendations according to relevant laws and internal policies.

• Review current pay statement, identify pay statement requirements by laws, and create a support case with UKG to redesign pay statement.

• Execute the W2 process/W2C and complete payroll tax reporting.

• Run weekly audits to capture errors and make corrections before payroll processing.

Requirements:

• Ability to apply 5 years of technical and operation principles and experience in payroll and tax when successfully processing high volume payroll and taxes.

• Bachelor's degree required with intermediate or above experience with UKG Pro, Tax Filing (SAP payroll experience and garnishment exposure is a plus.

• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

• Willingness to learn new processes and systems, as required.
