The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for a Senior People Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Senior Level Sales and Sales Engineering Leaders. You will contribute both strategically and hands-on to cultivate an amazing and creative culture as we scale our business. This Senior People Business Partner would provide full-cycle talent leadership and work closely with all levels of the organization. This position is a critical, highly visible role that partners with leaders to drive the talent initiatives. In addition, acting as a trusted counsel and advisor to the business, as a leader with HR expertise and perspective, and being an integral part of the business and People Team.

Your Role

  • Build and cultivate strong relationships with senior sales leaders across the AMER Sales and Systems Engineer teams, as well as global functions, to provide HR leadership, direction, and counseling on various HR-related topics and business decisions
  • Coach and influence leaders to make sound business decisions regarding talent and performance management
  • Solutions focused and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Partner with relevant Human Resources Centers of Excellence (COE) to identify, develop and drive key transformational initiatives and programs such as leadership development, talent/performance management, change management, workforce and succession planning, talent acquisition, employee and career development, rewards and recognition, and coaching (employee and manager).
  • Coach and mentor members of the HR team to help drive key people programs within the AMER Sales Functions
  • Project manage with the ability to develop and interpret HR metrics to drive business decisions and outcomes
  • Help drive standardization across the HR team/function and identify ways to continuously improve the way we work

What You'll Bring

  • You have 10+ years in a People Business Partner role and possess strong business and HR understanding, including the ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions.
  • You possess strong business and HR acumen, including the ability to diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • You have experience supporting Sales organizations
  • You have a proven successful track record and knowledge in organizational and employee development, performance management, people relations, change management
  • You are a data-oriented decision-maker with the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data points and influence leaders
  • You operate with a proven customer service focus with a passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • You demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal relationship management skills with all levels of employees
  • You exhibit a bias for action and sense of urgency, while able to prioritize and juggle several tasks
  • You have previous experience in a high-tech global growth company with a strong preference for experience with small and large/established companies
  • You have an aptitude and proven ability to resolve conflicts creatively and collaboratively
  • You have working proficiency of HRIS systems
  • You're knowledgeable of State and Federal employment laws as well as other HR-related compliance requirements
  • You have experience working within a highly matrixed environment
  • You can work across different cultures and have the ability to travel domestically
  • You've earned a Bachelor's degree (OR the equivalent combination of education and years of related experience).

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $134,400 and $267,600 /year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
