GHD has an immediate opportunity for a Senior People Business Partner. The Senior People Business Partner is responsible for supporting the functional groups of Client Services, Technical Services-North America, and Marketing & Communications. Preferred locations are Houston, Irvine or Santa Rosa. GHD supports a hybrid work model.

The position plays a pivotal role in providing a streamlined support for Global Business Services, including but not limited to, development of succession planning and talent development for these functional groups. Work collectively as appropriate with the COEs of Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, People Shared Services, and compensation and benefits to ensure a consistent service proposition. Support executives to deliver against their respective business/functional plans. Active participant in the People Community to deliver against the People plan initiatives. Support projects as required for enterprise initiatives and actively promote a collaborative approach in solving HR issues with HR practitioners in regions as required.

Experience and knowledge required:

• International experience preferred
• Min 10 years contemporary professional experience. Exposure to professional services organizations preferred
• Background in providing generalist HR / People Management advice and services at both the strategic and operational level
• May have functional depth of experience in recruitment, organizational development, employee relations
• Undergraduate degree. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven ability to establish excellent work and coaching relationships
