We offer end-to-end specialty-specific solutions from practice management, through EMR to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) that help our clients maximize their efficiencies.
ModMed is seeking a Senior People Initiatives Manager who will be responsible for project managing and strategically aligning work across the people organization, helping us achieve our mission to enable, engage, and empower team members to maximize their potential and the company's performance.Â
Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, this role will identify and support critical People Team initiatives that support the needs of the business, provide input and oversight of priority projects, and partner with the People Team and cross-functional stakeholders to determine the proper course of action, measure effectiveness, identify communications needs, and drive process improvements.
The Role:
- Participates in People Leadership Team meetings, working closely with the CPO and the SLT to effectively manage and support the strategic initiatives for the department.Serves as a member of the people leadership team, working closely with the CPO and the SLT to effectively manage and support the strategic initiatives for the department.
- Supports the strategic planning and coordination of People Leadership Team meetings and events, working with the CPO to set agendas and objectives, capturing next steps, and working with stakeholders to ensure all action items are completed.
- Leads a variety of cross-functional initiatives within the People Team, including identifying project stakeholders, managing project scope, identifying measures of success, and ensuring the successful completion of the initiative.
- Build a tracking and governance system to monitor and manage project plans and provide updates to the leadership team. Helps drive adoption and effective utilization of the Asana project management tool.
- Manages special projects, ad-hoc analyses, and activities that cut across all of the People Team departments and/or support key business objectives and emerging issues.
- Routinely brings together multiple stakeholders with divergent perspectives to partner on key initiatives and drives decisions, resolves conflicts, influences outcomes, and enables leader success.
- Evaluate team processes and assess issues that serve as barriers to operational effectiveness and efficiency. Drives decisions and helps steer implementation.
- Participates in and helps drive goal setting and tracking process for the People Team.
- Supports the strategic planning for People Team and business activities such as strategy meetings, all-hands meetings, and town halls. Drives agenda and post-meeting follow-up.
- Partners with Internal Communications and People Experience on People Team communication and engagement needs and activities.
- Supports the CPO and People Leadership Team with thought partnership and preparation of materials for Quarterly Business Reviews, company meetings, board meetings, etc,.
- Partners with Finance and People Leadership Team to effectively manage the People Team budget.
- Works with cross-functional teams and uses influence in a matrix environment to help oversee projects of high importance.
- Supports the Head of Internal Communications in managing company-wide communications project timelines and deliverables.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience
- Demonstrated experience driving initiatives requiring complex project and change management
- Consulting experience, with a focus on people and culture and/or operations management a plus
- Strategic thinker with an ability to synthesize complex information into a cohesive business narrative
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people with diverse styles and perspectives; make informed decisions, find solutions, manage conflict and encourage and support change.
- Excellent approach to problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
- Innovative thinker with good judgment and the ability to make decisions independently and expeditiously; and, translate strategy into action
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills
- Tech savvy with strong Google Slides/PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Business-minded and strategic planner - able to connect the dots.
- Budget management experience preferred.
- Ability to generate alternatives, proposing solutions along and clear problem definition
- Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for productive collaboration across varying departments.
- Positive attitude and go-getter drive.
