About the Team

As part of the pillars of our People Shared Services team, we own Payroll, Benefits, People systems, and People policies and procedures. Our mission is to ensure the best employee experience, and enable the company to keep growing in a scalable way while remaining compliant with the relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

About the Role

Your mission will be to provide expert advice and support to our Typeformers and the global People team on all matters relating to People Operations. You will be the owner of several important processes in our employee lifecycle, bring improvements and help us scale up our processes. You will report to our Senior Director of Shared Services. This role can be based remotely in the UK, Netherlands, Portugal, France or Ireland.


Things you will do:

  • Providing subject matter expertise for People areas such as benefits, time off, leave of absence, People systems, policies, employment law, immigration, compliance, C&B, and Equity administration. 
  • Providing generalist and operational support to the global People team.
  • Overseeing the entire employee life cycle, ensuring onboarding and offboarding runs smoothly.
  • Keeping files and employee data up to date at all times. Preparing and keeping up to date policies, template documents etc. 
  • Ensuring systems are up to date, and investigating and communicating any suggested improvements.
  • Managing, improving and scaling various administrative processes in the employee lifecycle.
  • Being the #startfromempathy ambassador and go-to person for all People queries, as well as anticipating needs and challenges that arise as the company scales.
  • Owning relationships with various external providers such as employment and immigration lawyers, payroll providers, EOR, and benefits vendors.
  • Proactively documenting new policies as well as maintaining existing ones.
  • Leading projects to improve People processes and tools through system automation.
  • Ensuring accuracy of internal People knowledge resources. 
  • Ensuring our benefits packages remain aligned with our remote working model and employee needs. Anticipating needs and challenges that will come as we scale.

What you already bring to the table:

  • You have 6+ years of working experience in a generalist HR role within fast-paced environments in the Tech sector 
  • Strong knowledge of HR areas including Onboarding (including visa and relocation processes), Compensation & Benefits, and Offboarding, ensuring an excellent employee experience in all the stages of the employee lifecycle, with a focus on legal compliance and tax implications. 
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have experience mapping risks, doing risks assessment, and setting contingency plans at scale. 
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and great at prioritizing
  • Self-starter with a good sense of what ownership means
  • Ability to know when to bring quality 
  • Proactive and flexible service mindset with a focus on employee experience
  • Experience with different HR tools and software
  • Data-driven and Finance know-how
