Well, we are looking for a Senior People Business Partner who will bring a consultative approach when working with business leaders on the talent strategy needed for high growth, as well as build an environment where employees thrive. To be successful in this role, the Senior People Business Partner must understand business priorities and translate them into a People agenda that drives the business. You will make data-driven recommendations for innovative and scalable solutions as well as iterate on current programs to improve performance, retention and the employee experience.

A day in the life of a Senior People Partner at Calendly

As a Senior People Partner will have a unique opportunity to develop and lead the execution of programs that support and benefit our people while working directly with Calendly’s People team. On a typical day, you will be working on:
  • Aligning to senior level leaders and their broader leadership teams to supporting the people and organization agenda within defined function
  • Mentoring and developing our managers to lead successful teams and grow our people
  • Leading coordinating people programs across a wide range of areas from career development and career pathing frameworks, to performance feedback, and partnering on relevant learning and development solutions for your client groups
  • Supporting the buildout of our HR infrastructure as we continue to build the foundations for scale. Understanding that our infrastructure, processes, and technology will continue to scale as we do will help you “meet us where we are today” while being a part of the build for the future
  • Reviewing and analyzing business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements
  • Partnering with leaders and individuals to ensure a high performance, highly engaging culture in a high growth environment
  • Working with leaders to help forecast headcount needs and collaborate with recruiting to ensure we hire the right talent
  • Play a major role in the management of varied projects throughout the business, actively participating in project teams and implementing initiatives while simultaneously ensuring accurate communication and collaboration throughout the planning and execution of programs
What do we need from you?
  • 6+ years of broad and dynamic HR experience in a Technology/SaaS company
  • A keen understanding of business strategy, providing dynamic solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility to guide your decision-making
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and all levels of an organization to tackle problems
  • A self-starter mentality with a roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-things-done attitude
  • A deep understanding of "what great HR looks like" and how business cycles influence the people agenda
  • Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem solving
  • Expertise in assessing management and executive talent
  • Solid experience in employee relations, with the ability to successfully resolve escalated issues and concerns
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
