At Salesloft, our People Partners are pivotal to our company’s success.  You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Talent Management team.  Our team is hyper focused on building an organization where every Lofter performs at a high level, experiences a healthy and equitable organization, is managed effectively, experiences moments of delight, and will do more, learn more, and become more.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for aligning our people strategy to business strategy and helping us achieve our goals through our people.  Specifically, you will:

  • Build strategic partnerships with leaders and employees across our Revenue and Marketing organizations.
  • Proactively identify and propose solutions to org design and development opportunities
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on employee relations, engagement, and conflict resolution.
  • Work with partners across Finance, Revenue Operations, Recruiting, DEI, and Compensation & Benefits to facilitate cross-functional initiatives, share relevant context, and solve for the needs of Revenue and Marketing organizations.
  • Guide leaders through employee changes to ensure we have the right people in the right roles.  Record and track transactions in our HRIS (Workday).
  • Lead and/or contribute to organizational wide people initiatives related to learning, talent management, process improvements, and systems
  • Lead programmatic initiatives across the Revenue and Marketing organizations including compensation reviews, talent reviews, engagement survey action planning and quarterly business reviews.

We are seeking a business oriented, experienced, proactive, and highly-motivated people professional who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.  You will play a key role in helping to scale our Revenue & Marketing teams - two teams who are at the forefront of our customer experience.  You will play a large part in building out the systems and processes needed as Salesloft grows.

 THE TEAM:

Our Salesloft’s Talent Management team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming talent professionals who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

THE SKILL SET:

  • 6+ years of experience in a talent oriented role (preferably experience as a business partner)
  • Experience establishing relationship with C-level executives, managers, and employees at all levels
  • In-depth knowledge of US employment law and experience applying employment law to real-life situations
  • An effective communicator.  Can tailor communication based on audience, culture, and nuances.  Able to use insights and data to drive strategic discussions.
  • Proven ability to engage in healthy debate and pushback to yield positive business outcomes
  • Can independently and proactively own large-scale projects from start to finish
  • Models inclusive leadership - takes an iterative approach, influences the creation of diverse teams, and regularly seeks to understand perspectives different from their own.
  • Collaborative mentality by prioritizing ‘we’ and not focusing on ‘me’
  • Can effectively connect the dots between business goals and HR initiatives.  Is able to seamlessly connect how their work supports larger business objectives.

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique 
  • Spend time getting to know peers and partners across the business
  • Begin establishing relationships with Revenue and Marketing stakeholders
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-6-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team.
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Have established relationships with Marketing and Revenue stakeholders
  • Own all “reactive” people needs across Marketing and Revenue
  • Have an in-depth understanding of Salesloft’s people practices
  • Provided insights and recommendations based on your early observations.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Independently own all people needs across your functions
  • Start owning a cross-functional people project (i.e talent & performance management, process improvements, etc.)
  • Begin implementing recommendations that improve people processes across the organization and/or within your function.

 WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be a top performing People Partner who others learn from
  • Regularly serve as a thought partner for the leaders you support
  • Proactively influence the culture and performance of the Revenue and Marketing organizations
