Senior People Systems Manager

10x Genomics is looking for a Sr. People Systems Manager to join our People Solutions team. The role will manage people systems, processes and projects. Individuals applying for this position must be self-starters, strategic thinkers, action driven, flexible in changing direction and methods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, succeed in communicating with all levels within the organization, and provide immediate contribution. We are looking for an individual who has curiosity about and deep knowledge of systems, including Workday, Greenhouse, Eightfold, Bridge Learning Management System, Visier and other HR related systems. 

Key Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain current HR systems:

• Evaluate current systems (including Workday, Greenhouse, etc) setup to drive improvements from a people experience standpoint
• Develop Business Requirement Documentation in partnership with the People Team COE’s: Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and other special projects as needed.
• Project manage all system enhancements to ensure they are are fit for purpose, which includes user acceptance testing, training and reporting of system enhancements and new projects
• Create process documentation in the support of COE programs, including: Support COE activities conducting data validation and post-mortems to improve future planning cycles to improve the employee experience
• Evaluate current pain points within the HR tech ecosystem and make process recommendations to internal partners as well as drive implementation of process changes
• Analyze and interpret business process issues and make recommendations to management and the wider People team in relation to system updates and process improvements
• Collaborate with external vendors ensuring data integrity and proactive support
• Upload data as part of the key HR processes - such as compensation planning, promotion and open enrollment
• Be the data custodian for all data that is in our systems
• Pull and analyze data as requested by the CPO and other team members

Minimum Requirements 

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or related degree
• 8+ years relevant experience with HR systems and  technologies
• 5+ years of experience with HR systems such as Workday 
• Experience managing projects in a fast paced environment
• Articulate, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment
• System thinking orientation – comfortable viewing problems and challenges holistically the ability to consider all interdependencies before action
• Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and deliver an excellent work product in a fast-paced, and rapidly changing dynamic company
• Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the ability to exercise discretion and show good judgment; honesty, integrity, and trust building behaviors in all dealings is essential and required
• Excellent customer-service orientation, high degree of professionalism, and ability to work with limited direction
