Our Senior Performance Marketing Manager (SEO) will play a key role in building and executing organic strategies that drive business impact.  As a Senior Performance Marketing Manager (SEO) at Noble, you will evaluate client goals and develop data-informed SEO strategies that will directly result in successful KPI performance. This role will be able to execute complex marketing strategies and prioritize activities based on the expected impact vs effort while managing the quality of work produced by the team to ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO better practices with onsite, back-end and offsite elements while being proficient in monitoring results across a variety of tools. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in developing strategic plans and managing SEO strategies for assigned clients that drive measurable results.
  • Work directly with clients and other Noble team members to clearly identify and understand client goals and business objectives in order to contribute to marketing plan creation.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword, content and competitor analysis to prioritize where clients should focus organic efforts to reach business goals. 
  • Analyze and understand website architecture, page load speed, mobile responsiveness, URL structure, and schema markup and other high priority technical SEO elements to improve crawlability, indexation, and impact on search engine rankings.
  • Research and design backlink acquisition strategies, including outreach campaigns, partnerships, and content marketing, to improve authority and search engine rankings.
  • Identification and implementation of schema markup and structured data to enhance search engine understanding of website content, enabling rich results in SERPs.
  • Collaborate with the designated digital marketing team to monitor performance for assigned clients, provide recommendations for work prioritization based on impact/effort, and supply actionable optimization guidance.
  • Ensure that deliverables for assigned clients created by the digital marketing team are of high quality, impactful and in line with Noble’s best practices and methodologies.
  • Keep up with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and better practices while translating them into actionable recommendations.
  • Provide support, as needed, on team initiatives which may include documentation of methodology, planning for presentations, organizing events, mentoring team members, etc.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth through SEO strategies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, journalism or related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • A close eye for details, with the ability to forecast
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once and perform under tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, research, written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, while top candidates will hold certifications in Google Analytics
  • Intermediate or greater proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience with CMS platforms

  • You must pass Noble’s background and reference checks, as well as provide documentation of your legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • You must be willing/able to travel to client and other locations, infrequently as needed.
  • You must be able to work full-time during Noble’s core business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, as well as occasionally be available after hours if urgent situations arise.
  • You must be willing and able to be on-site in our Reno office at least twice annually.
