Senior Performance Test Engineer

As the Senior Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for application and system performance testing, monitoring, and analysis of results. Additionally, you will write performance reports, establish baselines, extract performance metrics, and recommend a specific course of action to remediate performance issues and improve performance.

Your day to day:

• Perform application and system performance, load, and stress testing
• Plan, design, script, and execute performance test scenarios focusing on both use cases and network system configurations

• End-to-end performance testing from input files, through system processing, to target tables and finally to output files
• Recommend remedial actions for application and network based on scalability, speed, and responsiveness
• Create and maintain a data library
• Comfortable providing guidance to offshore colleagues
• Test case repository and execution tool experience, such as JMeter

• Interact with members of various teams
• Work within a distributed team, including offshore colleagues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred
• 5+ years of professional performance testing experience with demonstrated success in areas including test planning, test case design, and test methodologies
• Self-motivated to prioritize and manage

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong experience in Windows, C#, SQL Server, and IIS
