Senior PHP Developer (All genders)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer who is eager to expand their expertise to full stack development or transition into a Java Developer role within one year.

We move videos. Together with you, we will move even more.

As a Senior PHP Developer, you’ll take on the following responsibilities:

• Be an important part of our multinational agile software development team 
• Continue our transition towards a microservice architecture 
• Implement high-quality and scalable video asset management and video streaming solutions for enterprise customers 
• Write well-structured and documented clean code 
• Adopt the DevOps mindset: You build it, you run it 
• Continuously update and expand the existing product 

To thrive in the role as a Senior PHP Developer, you’ll need:

• Relevant work experience of minimum 5 years in building high traffic web applications using PHP, message brokers like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ, and building CI/CD pipelines 
• Strong knowledge and understanding of PHP > 8
• Knowledge and experience with Symfony (Symfony, Doctrine) 
• Knowledge of MySQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and search engine ElasticSearch 
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
• Practical experience implementing automated tests: Unit, integration, and functional 
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
• Fluency in the English language

Additional bonus skills:

• Experience in building Domain Driven Design web applications and services 
• Experience with Java or full stack development is a significant advantage.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm charts 
• Experience with event-driven architectures
