Job Description:


As a Senior PHP Developer at Calldrip you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our SaaS application.ย  You will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems that support a growing portfolio of products. Your expertise in PHP and deep understanding of scalable systems will be essential in ensuring the performance and reliability of our applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and maintain backend systems using PHP.
  • Ensure the performance scalability and reliability of our applications.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
  • Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
  • Create and maintain integrations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot performance and scalability issues.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in PHP development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with modern PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel Symfony).
  • Proficiency in database design and management (MySQL PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks (e.g. Node.js Angular) is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced agile development environment.
