Senior Planner

THE ROLE: Senior Planner

The Senior Planner will plan, forecast, and analyze the business at a category level for multiple channels). Working closely with Sr Planner and Planner to ensure the category vision is executed for each channel through numbers

This role will focus on sales, margin and inventory plans in order to optimize revenue, profits, inventory efficiency, and the future growth of all channels.  Qualifying individuals should be highly motivated for advancement, inquisitive, and possess developed analytical, communication and teamwork skills that will enable them to work effectively cross-departmentally with the Planning, Programming, Merchandising, Warehouse, and Tech teams.

What You'll Do:

• Work with the planning partners and  merchandising team to develop and execute plans and forecasts at category level.
• Help create and analyze event plans as needed.
• Create assortment plans and buying guides to aid the merchants with suggested  styles and depth as well as ideal size scale for category.
• Responsible for identifying markdowns and pricing to ensure profitability of the category.
• Maintain and develop weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or another quantitative field preferred
• 2+ years in a retail environment
• Demonstrated planning and analytical skills
• Expert Excel skills
• Planning system and business Intelligence tool experience a plus
• Advanced organization and communication skills
• Process oriented
• Experience working in a team environment
• Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
