Job Overview
As a Senior Platform Product Manager, you have a passion for delivering product as aplatform that solves customer problems. The Senior Platform PM is responsible for driving the vision and realization of AvidXchange's technology platform. Through business plans, product roadmaps, user personas, market requirements and user scenarios, you will helpto influence the platform product strategy that strengthens existing products and helps to drive growth in new and existing market segments. You must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong relationship building, ability to think strategically and analytically, and a passion for emerging technologies.

Job Responsibilities
Product Management:
- Single point of accountability for the commercial success of your platform(s)
- Transform a platform product vision into business success through creativity, innovation, influence, collaboration and leadership
- Manage and drive strategic execution of all phases of the product lifecycle from a highly technical, platform-centric perspective
- Collaborate with and manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization to drive and implement critical engineering initiatives
- Lead complex/critical projects by fostering a team mentality, providing clear business communication, and maintaining team focus to ensure the most favorable outcomes
- Evaluate requirements, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs relative to technical constraints
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to design, prototype and build new product offerings and enhance existing products and tools
- Has deep subject-matter expertise and proven ability to quickly and valuably deliver on a new product challenge.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact and work with implementation teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Track and drive timely resolution of open issues. • Recommend new processes, workarounds, and flow changes to ensure constant improvement and evolution of the platform experience.
- Ownership of the full product development process: problem identification, solution design and scoping, implementation, adoption and validation.
- Translate feature requests/improvements into requirements that the development team can use during build.
- End-to-end platform product management in an Agile environment; participation in Scrum ceremonies and agile planning
- Define KPIs and strategic initiatives for the platform team, overseeing timely releases
- Develop user journeys, conduct analysis on the product scope with the engineering team
- Write detailed, complete user stories and requirements
- Collaborate closely with internal architecture and engineering teams, third-party technology partners, additional product teams, and other cross functional stakeholders
- Have ownership of the full product development process: problem identification, solution design and scoping, implementation, adoption and validation.
- Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features
- Ability to motivate and partner with developers to optimize the platform for ease of use
- Experience leading and driving technical discussions with developers, architects and stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize features to meet current needs of the users of the platform while staying on track for the strategic vision of the product
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience including the study ofComputer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration
- 7+ years of demonstrated technical product management, technical projectmanagement, business analyst or engineering experience
- Experience in building platform solutions, defining services and applications
- Azure Dev-ops (TFS), Jira, Rally, or similar planning & development tool
- Strong technical understanding to navigate technical discussions and translateclient and business needs into solid requirements
- Demonstrated track record of developing creative solutions in product, process orpolicy that delivered business results
- Strong attention to detail including precise and effective communications andproven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics toback up assumptions and develop business cases
- Superior verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to clearly communicate user experience issues and service specifications toboth business and technical audience using requirements documents, use cases and desired outcomes
- Skilled at working with cross-functional groups and matrix organizations in multiplegeographies to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Thrives in an environment of continuous change and complexity - can drive qualityinsights and deliver high impact projects

- Successfully negotiates and defends his or her position.
- Previous application development experience
- An understanding of agile product methodologies and how to apply them to realworld situations
- AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications
- An understanding of data services and API-based product offerings
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact and influence at various levelsof the organization
- Demonstrable track record of partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve critical business initiatives • Experience working with remote, geographically distributed teams, and senior leaders • B2B and/or FinTech experienc
