Title Senior Plumbing BIM Modeler Key Responsibilities Strategy · Assist in the implementation of plumbing standards · Provide strategic experience for the organization Production · Prepares electronic drawings with accuracy, neatness, and efficiency using Revit. · Approaches Project Manager and Leadership with requests on specific training of any areas of skill and experience that are deficient. · Develops design and modeling approaches and concepts on assigned projects in coordination with the Project Manager. · Performs modeling, coordinating and conflict resolution process in Revit and Navisworks; anticipates problems and potential conflicts and communicates promptly to the Project Manager; ability to identify and provide recommended solutions. · Performs detailing and annotating process that match industry standard level of care; prepare fully organized and complete deliverable packages with clear and concise visual layout and textual information; Annotation layouts are clean, symmetrical, consistent and has a completeness in relaying the necessary information to engineers, architects, field construction teams and fabrication shops. · Attends project update meetings with both customers and team members; meeting composure maintains a respectful attitude and engaging in dialogue with effective communication among attendees and Project Manager · Assists the Project Manager in the coordination with external and internal contacts such as customers, stakeholders and other disciplines. · Maintains detailed records of communications with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and team members using our internal documentation system. · Visually reviews contract drawing plans and own shop drawing plans for defects in design work prior to QAQC handoff. · Performs tasks in accordance with the budget by accurately quantifying the amount of effort needed to complete tasks. · Assists in the training and mentoring of designers and entry level CAD operators. · May assist or supervise in data collection and/or jobsite walks for field verification. · May hold project manager responsibilities on or during some projects; tasks include establishing project scope with the customer, scheduling work, maintaining communication with the customer, attending meetings, implementing a QA/QC plan, and performing job close out processes. Risk Management · Assesses and anticipates project risks to develop procedures for mitigation and response strategies for projects managers and designers. · Builds, implements and grows a proactive Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for the company. Requirements · Minimum 5 years of experience in the plumbing design environment. · Ability to use Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam at a consistent and high-level. · Exceedingly sufficient in the understanding of plumbing discipline with little to no gaps in knowledge both in design, basics in fabrication and constructability. · Knowledge of common construction terminology. · Possess the ability to understand plans of all disciplines within the industry. · Ability to commute to the office and be consistently present during business hours. · Ability to fluctuate workflow to accommodate fast-track project schedules. Compensation Base Salary + Bonuses & Benefits Job Type: Full-time Pay: $56,000.00 - $78,500.00 per year Work Location: In person
