Position Summary

eBay is seeking a dedicated Senior Manager with a strong technical and operational background who will be responsible for running the GCX (Global Customer Experience) Project Management Office (PMO) activities on a day-to-day basis, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, supervising a PMO team, and collaborating with other partners to ensure a consistent project planning and delivery approach, drive standardization and effective delivery mechanisms.

The PMO Senior Manager will provide strategic thought leadership on the future design of PMO and core Governance practices to optimize planning, resource management, and project management.

The successful candidate will also have a strong leadership presence and be able to influence and work with cross functional teams and will have experience communicating and negotiating with a senior stakeholder audience!

Key Responsibilities:

• Be an authority for PMO within the GCX organization owning the vison and strategy for the PMO core methods and practices.
• Drive Governance activities across teams ensuring efficient process and procedure is implemented.
• Design, deploy, and perform ongoing governance and optimization of the E2E process flows
• PMO Reporting Management
• Ensure consistency in reports across GCX functions to manage demand and capacity and portfolio management
• Support annual planning processes, design templates to gather data, synthesized the collected data and summarized for leadership review
• Lead Quarterly Release Planning process for GCX. This includes define and communication of timeline, provide governance of the process. Work hands-on with senior leaders to plan the priorities of the organization.
• Manage team capacity and provide capacity vs. demand analysis
• Oversee the project intake and estimation process for eBay Marketplaces and GCX portfolios
• Proactively manage partner expectations and communicate progress, effective decision-making, and leadership / oversight for issue resolution in a matrix management organization.
• Synthesize information from multiple sources and use it for effective decision-making
• Continuously improve service and results for our people and the business, operating with a cross functional and global lens
• Make sound decisions in ambiguous or difficult situations, including when under pressure

Position Qualifications

• **This is a Hybrid Role working out of either our Austin, Texas or our Salt Lake City, Utah office. Candidates must reside in one of these locations and be agreeable to the Hybrid work model.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
• 10+ years professional related work experience and hands on reporting creation experience desired
• 3+ years leadership and planning experience in an extensive, cross functional organization
• Demonstrated track record of performance and leading sophisticated change for the business
• Excellent organizational change management skills with excellent attention to detail
• Outstanding collaboration and partnership capabilities are essential
• Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and sophisticated business problems
• Ability to lead in a large, sophisticated and diverse global organization and partner well with peers
• Skilled in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, and delegating effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results
• Strong customer service orientation; strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Experience with senior leadership and ability to deliver summary updates, reports and presentations
• Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills
• Travel requirements will vary with assignments
