- Deploy and administer enterprise on-prem and cloud-based relational and NoSQL database management systems
- Create, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and security of the database environments
- Contribute on the infrastructure design of database servers for optimal performance and capacity
- Design and maintain database objects and structures for scalability and performance according to standardsand best practices
- Define and monitor database servers' key performance indicators to ensure the best end to end performance
- Design high availability and disaster recovery strategies and conduct their testing
- Create and collaborate with others on the design and maintenance of database queries
- Participate in on-call rotation
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer scienceor equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven expert level knowledge and experience on PostgreSQL
- At least three years of Database Administration experience
- MS SQL Server experience is a plus
Preferred:
- EDB / PostgreSQL Professional certification
- MCTS, MCITP, or MVP certification
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or higher
- Proficiency in PowerShell or NodeJs
- Knowledge of DynamoDB
