Senior Pricing Analyst

Cargomatic is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Pricing Analyst to join our team. This role will require expertise in leading the pricing strategy for drayage bids and other modes of transportation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Google Sheets, and a deep understanding of market trends to ensure competitive and profitable rates. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with company objectives is essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drayage Bids Pricing: Lead the pricing strategy for drayage bids, ensuring competitive and profitable rates.
• Multi-modal Transportation Pricing: Evaluate and set pricing for various modes of transportation, ensuring alignment with market trends and company objectives.
• Data Analysis: Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Google Sheets to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant data to inform pricing decisions.
• Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor pricing, and market demand to ensure Cargomatic remains a market leader in pricing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, operations, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with overall company goals.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on pricing performance, highlighting successes, areas of improvement, and recommendations for future strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Google Sheets.
• Minimum of 5 experience in pricing, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
• In-depth understanding of drayage and other modes of transportation.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
