As a Senior Pricing Analyst, your mission will be to analyze our pricing structure and product positioning within the mobile solutions business of Donaldson.

You will have an impact on becoming a strong contributor in the success of the business of Mobile Solution. You will be working together with our Key Account Managers, Product Managers, and the Sales Leaders and reporting to the Pricing Director.

Main Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze commodity, economic trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behaviors to inform pricing decisions.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for Sales teams on pricing methodologies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of pricing changes on product performance and profitability, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Implement and maintain a dynamic pricing model that adapts to market fluctuations and business dynamics.
  • Provide support to the sales teams and management to ensure further development of profitable business in accordance with company operating policies and profitability roadmap.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining a new pricing infrastructure in our Mobile Solutions.
  • Develops pricing procedures and provide input into establishment of pricing policy.
  • Preparing and monitoring the yearly price reviews.
  • Plan, control, steer, coordinate and execute investigative work and price analysis for US/EMEA and Global Customers.
  • Responsible for identifying price inconsistencies within global business and come up with countermeasures (proactive & reactive conflict solving, pricing alert, product life cycles).
  • Responsible for centralization of pricing intelligence to competitively position Donaldson products.
  • Where applicable, you might participate in internal audits.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance or related field and minimum 5 years related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
  • Proven analytical skills, data admin, and complex problem solving with mathematical aptitude (20% admin - 80% analysis).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect the dots between different processes across Mobile Solutions. Must also be willing and able present to key stakeholders.

Other Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience or experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of SQL/ Python and any other data mining tools will be an advantage.
  • Meticulous in numbers and details
  • Knowledge of Oracle R12, BI & Tableau is considered as an asset.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); Other language skills are an advantage.
  • Preferably work experience at manufacturing company

Travel:

  • Up to 15%; potential for international

While this person will be based in Bloomington, MN, the team and leadership is spread out globally; someone who is a self- motivated, willing to take initiative, collaborate globally, and come up with recommendations on their own will do well in this role.
