About This Role

We are seeking a Sr. Pricing Analyst who is a data-driven individual, that likes to solve puzzles and is excited to help drive profit. The Sr. Pricing Analyst will report to the Sr. Pricing Manager in the trade marketing team in a cross functional environment with the sales, finance, and customer service teams. The Sr. Pricing Analyst will focus on improving operational efficiency and margin growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer and channel price lists
  • Manage pricing quotes through Salesforce CPQ
  • Develops pricing strategies aligned with the financial, marketing, and strategic objectives of the business (segment, branding, positioning, targeting, etc)
  • Analyzes new and existing pricing, and implements updates in accordance with established pricing strategies to meet financial goals and objectives
  • Analyzes new and existing customer support programs to focus on market share and margin growth.
  • Identify and analyze market issues and trends, determining appropriate pricing actions, filing of actions, and post-audit assessment of actions
  • Support pricing, sales and marketing teams in identifying opportunities to drive sales and profitability, leveraging data insights and stakeholder input and expertise
  • Evaluation of promotion opportunities to drive revenue and margin growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, pricing, or revenue management.
  • 2+ years of advanced level proficiency with MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in degree in business, finance or engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • JD Edwards experience a plus
  • Salesforce CPQ experience a plus
  • Problem solving
  • Strong data mining, aggregation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to interact and work with management and within a team environment
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
