Summary
The Sr. Pricing Analyst will play on important role in helping maximize revenue through operator and distributor price guidance, Salesforce CPQ expertise, and support Trade Spend Allowance recommendations to assist senior sales leadership in our Food Service segment. This position will work collaboratively with sales leadership to review both rebate and contract pricing programs and to execute short and long-term pricing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be skilled at developing pricing models and can integrate large amounts of data into actionable recommendations.
This role will report to the Sales Solutions Manager and will be responsible for executing the defined distributor and operator pricing strategies. The ability to network and influence will be key to success in this role as you work with several key sales leaders, marketing, finance and other cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide price guidance recommendations through analytical review of existing programs, market dynamics, sales feedback, and marketing strategies
- Review pricing contracts and rebates to ensure the programs are set up correctly
- Provide feedback and coaching to sales reps on improving pricing programs
- Provide price guidance with analytical support to sales leadership that optimize revenue and margin for the Food Service business unit
- Review distributor pricing and suggest pricing standards to support fair and equitable pricing
- Assist with implementation of pricing changes for distributor pricing files
- Establish distributor price lists and manage distributor pricing deviations
- Provide analysis and guidance on marketing and sales promotions including post promotion ROI
- Work closely with the bid team on establishing bid pricing parameters and strategies
- Lead pricing effort associated with the requirements of an RFP
- Support trade spend allowance reviews and recommendations
- Support integration and training for Salesforce CPQ
- Responsible for developing pricing metrics and tools to provide guidance to the sales team on pricing action needed with distributors and operators
- Develop tools to analyze lost business related to price and provide insights into adjustments needed
- Develop and maintain monthly reporting results and provide recommendations to sales leadership
- Develop auditing reports to support cross functional teams and help discover areas for change or improvement
- Leverage third party data to benchmark competitive pricing and identify trends
- Bachelor's Degree from 4-year college or university
- 5+ years related experience
- Highly proficient in data analysis and the ability to turn raw data into consumable and actionable insights
- Strong skills in using financial modeling tools, especially Microsoft (MS) Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, etc.
- Strong business and financial understanding
- Understanding of foodservice preferred
- Ability to build strong relationships through exceptional communication skills
- Self-directed and self-motivated
