The Senior Pricing Analyst for the North America Regional Commercial Organization is responsible for strategic guidance, monitoring, and execution of assigned Enterprise Loyalty Programs. The Sr. Pricing Analyst will focus on smooth, timely, and efficient pricing process design and execution. This individual will create value by providing end-to-end input and governance for assigned programs from design to execution. They will partner with key stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, and others.
Specific Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Program & Promotion Pricing Manager, this role will be responsible for working with partners to develop and execute pricing loyalty programs, rebates, Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs) and the associated performance reporting to support the pricing execution team for Dentsply Sirona (DS), within its North American commercial organization. They will:
Serve as primary point-of-contact for assigned programs execution and performance tracking.
Partner with the Pricing Contract Analyst and other stakeholders on SPA creation and renewals.
Complete monthly/quarterly/annual rebate reports and summaries.
Develop a means for reporting on promotional trends and performance.
Perform customer account reconciliations as needed in support of Programs, Agreements, and Promotions.
Diagnose, document, and track program and promotion issues to resolution, partnering and escalating as needed.
Monitor program and promotion performance, regularly reporting KPI trends and intelligence to teammates and partners.
Monitor price policy compliance and performance.
Engage with commercial stakeholders to enhance a culture of data-driven rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement through a commitment to a data - analysis - trial - insight - re-trial - roll-out - refinement approach.
Technical Responsibilities:
Investigate and reconcile rebate requests.
Analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources to determine compliance with contract terms, and performance targets.
Respond in a timely and professional manner to partner and dealer inquires.
Interpret and validate invoice, rebate, and payment requests.
Provide ad-hoc support for analysis, reporting, and execution team pricing requests.
Interpersonal Responsibilities:
Customer Orientation - Interact with internal and external partners in regular meetings and responses to ad hoc requests in a timely and professional manner.
Reflect culture, discipline, behavior, in supporting processes to foster an environment of ideation, testing, analysis, and refinement.
Maintain flexibility with focus in performing tasks to navigate priorities, changes, and time constraints.
Maintain effective and timely communication and coordination with teammates in Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Accounting.
Engage with Legal and Compliance to ensure that execution and process standards comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Evaluate current business practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
Develops/builds positive business relationships with internal and external partners and customers on a daily basis.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution.
Pricing, Accounting, or Finance related professional certification preferred.
Years of Experience:
Demonstrated success with four plus years of pricing operations, data analytics or related experience.
Type of Experiences:
Determining chargebacks, rebates, and payments.
Data Modeling/ SQL/Data Analysis/Report Building.
Knowledge / experience with B2B and B2B2C business models preferred.
Reconciling accounts, validating requests.
Client-facing, consulting, and/ or internal roles that dealt directly with distributors, vendors, contractors, or customers.
Experience in cross functional work groups and working with other departments / functions to execute regular tasks.
Project management skills are a plus.
