This position can be located remotely in the U.S.
Anaplan is looking for a Senior or Principal Analyst, GTM Transformation who will support in building and operationalizing Anaplan’s Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy with a platform for high-visibility, sustained impact, and professional growth. Reporting to the Director of GTM Transformation, you will be responsible for facilitating meetings and workshops to understand problems in the field or across GTM and conducting analysis in pursuit of driving Anaplan’s profitable growth. This role requires a natural curiosity for solving problems and is comfortable with ambiguity and creating their own path. You will be expected to use quantitative and qualitative data and analysis to identify root causes, drive insights, and use that information to propose solutions for project and program level outcomes. You will interact and collaborate with key stakeholders across the world and in all of our GTM functions, with significant exposure across the organization, driving various top- and bottom-line programs as we shift Anaplan to a more global, scalable, and agile operating model.
Your Impact
- Identification and support of key projects within major initiative pillars
- Lead process mapping workshops and documentation, requirements gathering, including preparation and materials to effectively facilitate said meetings
- Business process assessment, documentation, and optimization
- Creation of materials (powerpoint, excel, or other analytical frames) to synthesize problems into layman’s terms to help the business make decisions quickly
- Support programs across different growth and cost functions including strategy definition, business case preparation and presentation for sign off, plus day-to-day initiative management
- Drive project stakeholders to report their status, identify risks, assess options and mitigate said risks, and update initiative tracker
- Identify issues issues and decisions for executive engagement, including input to Dr of GTM Transformation for ongoing steering committees
- Diplomatically pursue late stakeholders, often executives, to complete their deliverables with a minimum of nagging
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings for decision making – ensuring meetings are supported by the right fact-base, that the decisions and trade-offs are clearly articulated and that the decisions are clearly documented and followed through to implementation. RAID Log knowledge and bullet note taking will be critical
- Support creation of deliverables for cross-functional reporting snapshots: BOD contributions, QBRs, Monthly Reports, AOP, etc.
Your Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Management, or Finance. A master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Management would be advantageous but not essential
- Strong critical thinking skills with proven track record of logical and systematic approach to solving problems. Previous technology industry / SAAS / transformation consulting experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience and demonstrable understanding of foundational GTM terminology and principles
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy/portfolio management/transformation in a multi-geography, fast-paced environment
- 3+ years leading complex projects or initiatives, delivering on operational objectives/outcomes
- Strong project, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills including creation of materials and synthesis of problems and/or solutions to help drive outcomes
- Demonstrable analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) and excellent communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and detail-orientated team player with the ability to multi-task, gained from extensive experience in project and program management
- Entrepreneurial: Independent, bias to action, able to operate in a highly ambiguous environment and demonstrated ability to foster relationships with external parties
- Proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships; skilled in supporting internal and external customers
- Highly process-oriented approach with the ability to build and drive new ways of working, eventually optimizing for continued efficiency, scalability, and agility
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively depending on the situation
