Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Principal Cloud Engineer to join our team in St Diego, CA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Deployment/delivery of SW to remote locations as needed by the customer
• Provide solutions for Continuous testing, QA, staging/pre-production production across multiple SW languages
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
• Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
• Identify analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Regularly review existing systems and making recommendations for improvements
• Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs

Basic Qualification:

• Degree in computer science or a similar field
• 15 years of experience in the Information Technology field
• 5 years of experience managing, troubleshooting, and operating various systems in small to medium Microsoft windows environments
• 4 years of experience with user support and troubleshooting
• 3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience with DevOps environments
• Experience with NISST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Meet DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Certification Requirements for IAT Level II
  
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
  • Azure, and GCP Architect certifications - considered
  • Security+ CE
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret, TS preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
