Job Description Summary:
- Recognized Systems Engineering master. Leads the development and deployment of Systems Engineering workflow and toolset
- Develops and executes the overall systems strategy & roadmap, provides support and guidance to various technical teams and approves common work practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or controls engineering or mechanical engineering or computer science, or a substantially related field, with 8+ years of experience.
- Experience in controls design/verification process, system architecture modeling, and embedded software engineering.
- Experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Fire & Security applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated history of success in multiple positions of increasing scope and responsibility, with a significant duration of experience and expertise spanning the full qualifications of this role
- Recognized technical expert in the Systems V process and the development/deployment of systems engineering in the areas of robust requirements definition, Traceability, Configuration Management, System Architecture, System testing/validation (HIL, MIL, SIL, Lab testing) and integration of systems engineering workflows/tools.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities - technical leadership and technology project management
- Provides expertise in the decomposition of customer specifications and system-level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and makes recommendations for the generation of verification criteria and plans for the requirements.
- Experience in continuous integration and configuration management processes and technology.
- Experience in Agile methodology for software development and modeling.
- Experience in several systems engineering and related toolsets - Jazz DOORS/RTC/RQM/DM, Atlassian, DevOps, SysML, Rhapsody, Matlab/Simulink, HPQC
