Senior Principal Infrastructure Engineer

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a focus on Azure Entra Identity (formerly known as Azure AD). The candidate should possess expert knowledge in creating personas for role-based access control (RBAC), as well as a consultant-level understanding of implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) and automated provisioning. This role involves designing, developing, and managing the IAM framework to ensure secure and efficient access to corporate resources.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:  

• Design and implement identity solutions using Azure Entra Identity, ensuring alignment with best practices and security policies.
• Build out and refine personas and roles to support a comprehensive RBAC strategy across the organization.
• Develop and deploy SSO solutions to streamline user authentication across various applications and services.
• Lead the automation of user provisioning and de-provisioning processes, leveraging tools and scripts as appropriate.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct IAM assessments, and provide consultancy on IAM best practices.
• Manage the lifecycle of digital identities, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy laws.
• Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex identity-related issues.
• Keep abreast of emerging IAM technologies and trends, and recommend improvements to the current system.
• Develop and maintain documentation for identity processes, architecture, and configuration settings.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for IT staff and end-users to promote IAM awareness and best practices.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• In-depth experience with Azure Entra Identity and its components, such as Azure AD B2C, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Conditional Access.
• Proven track record of developing personas and implementing RBAC within complex environments.
• Strong experience in deploying SSO and identity federation services using protocols such as SAML, OAuth, SCIM and OpenID Connect.
• Familiarity with identity governance, directory services, and identity synchronization mechanisms.
• Skilled in scripting and automation tools for efficient provisioning and management of identities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and industry standards related to IAM.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Certifications in Azure, SC-300, Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Certifications in IAM, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), are a plus.
