Senior Principal Product Manager
Job Description
The Senior Principal Product Manager position is vital to delivering on IGC's product vision throughout the full lifecycle of our product offerings. You will interface with Sales, Business Development, and other teams in the ideation and definition phases and collaborate closely thereafter with Contracts, Finance, Engineering and Service Delivery at Intelsat General while also interfacing with the broader Intelsat organization as needed. You will bring proven product management expertise developed in government satellite communications markets.

- Thorough understanding government satcom market trends
- Manage product lifecycle through ideation, definition, launch, sustainment, and sunset
- Lead Product Go-to-Market Strategy development in close coordination with key stakeholders
- Evolve a Go-To-Market strategy that maximizes market share
- Identify key partners, formulate and support Solution Partner agreement negotiations
- Define and document the product in consideration of trade-offs; further refine product through testing and beta phases
- Assist Product Marketing in the development of sales and training collateral, both internal and customer-facing
- Work with Finance to maximize product and service revenue as well as profitability
- Document product development through value proposition evaluation, use cases, and business case analysis
- Coordinate with Engineering, Service Delivery and Sales teams to ensure successful launch
You should definitely have:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a similar discipline
- Advanced-level experience in government Mobility applications and services including satellite communications and tactical edge solutions
- Product management experience in developing enterprise-level products
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain and influence internal and customer working relationships at all levels
- Experience in managing and selling government products and services
- Experience with developing business cases
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills along with the ability to make effective presentations across diverse audiences
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
