Senior Principal Product Manager, Cloud Services
Job Description
- You own the development of Product strategy and develop Channel Strategy for the Cloud Product offerings
- You are responsibility for the product life cycle including developing and maintaining roadmaps
- You document Product definition and Business cases
- You work with the Global Sales teams & Sales Channels to evangelize the Product
- You lead the beta deployments
- You partner with key internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Sales Engineers, Sales Directors) to provide pre-sales support to the global Sales organization.
- You work closely with Regional Sales to identify market requirements and opportunities, recommend options and support closing deals to drive growth for the Networks Business.
- As a subject-matter-expert, you participate in customer meetings and presentations, supporting the regional Sales organization
- You support the management of the pipeline of opportunities for Cloud Based Services and be the primary interface for internal stakeholders.
- You keep track of projects being implemented and report progress to the Senior Manager of Product Management, Networks.
- You track and report revenue from projects being implemented and manage associated risks
- You work with the Marketing organization to create case studies based on success stories and customer testimonies in the region
- You will develop an excellent understanding of the customer base and market demand for cloud services
- You will collaborate with Sales Directors, Sales Engineers & Channels to identify commercial opportunities, including upcoming RFIs and RFPs
- You will prepare internal and customer-facing documentation presenting Intelsat's portfolio of Cloud Based Services
- You will support multiple internal teams across regions and vertical markets
- You will communicate (written and verbal) with regional Sales Directors and Engineers on a regular basis
You should definitely have:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or engineering
- At least 10-years of strong product management/development experience in the data networking segment including developing and executing effective product plans and strategies
- At least 5 years' experience in the Cloud computing space
- Strong understanding of the Enterprise connectivity market & data networking technologies
- Experience in a B2B services environment & developing channel strategy
- Experience in developing business cases and securing internal support
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to make effective presentations across diverse audiences
- Strong command of the fundamentals of market research, positioning and defining go-to-market strategy
- Ability to lead Product development, approvals, and training communications
- Leverage your strong cloud/telecom expertise and business acumen, you will help identify market demand and customer requirements to develop Products based on Intelsat's core network assets.
It would be nice if you had:
- Good knowledge of the economics and operations of telecommunications networks
- Experience working with Cloud providers, systems integrators, and telecommunications hardware suppliers
