Your role in helping us shape the future:
Intelsat launched an industry leading Managed Services Platform which streamlines service delivery and product management activities for one of the worlds most advanced global satellite and ground networks. We are seeking a candidate that lives digital and is the conduit between product management and the realization of production ready billable products.
You will focus on delivering a seamless experience for integration of new products & services, across all verticals that Intelsat services, by simplifying and streamlining service delivery. You will serve as an internal champion by facilitating cross-functional conversations to operationalize digital service delivery and enable revenue conversion. You will be instrumental in facilitating internal and external relationships to deliver a scalable product delivery platform.
Are you up to the challenge?
  • Assess existing digital platform landscape and make recommendations for enhanced operational processes. Streamline new product introductions and provisioning processes via automation solutions, leading to time-to-market improvements.
  • Provide expert level advisement to Intelsat's teams for integration of OSS / BSS systems, to automate end-to-end service delivery.
  • Provide SME advisement, regarding product enhancements digitization. Eliminate / minimize customer service delivery impact and expand revenue opportunity through automation.
  • Through automation, this role will lead the direct increase of customer product adoption and create raving fans of Intelsat's services.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, to shepherd Intelsat's teams through the digital product onboarding process; by providing clear guidance about next steps, maintaining open lines of communication, and connecting internal resources.
  • Lead post-sales lifecycle and usability analysis. Provide insights into the platforms effectiveness and enable a feedback loop for enhancement recommendations.
  • Proactively feed the Product Development backlog with decisions based on Product Management and customer needs analysis. Define critical problems to be solved. Use a formal process to present findings and recommend specific actions that relate to business objectives. Propose alternative business strategies as appropriate.
  • Instruct others on processes and procedures. Advise on the most favorable approach, anticipate potential issues to proactively circumvent issues. Adapt to exceptions and develop new procedures for repeatable future use. Resolve issues pertaining to scope and work with team members on schedule, budget, and drive positive change.
  • Regularly update product knowledge to understand new features. Understand the primary network technologies and partners / competitors in the satellite space. Understand the go-to-market strategy and positioning of products. Navigate Intelsat's digital product platform and be able to conduct portal demonstrations of integrated booking / billing capabilities.
  • Leverage existing frameworks to implement scalable, automated solutions to book and bill for procured services.

You should definitely have:
  • A 4-year degree in Business, Business Information Technologies or like degree.
  • 7 to 10-years of recent, relevant experience that includes operations, product requirements development and delivering customer facing digital solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry standard Satellite Network Management Systems, Enterprise & Mobility services, end-user applications.
  • Strong project/program management skills.
  • The ability to understand the Intelsat's Product strategies and advocate for ease of use /delivery enabling profitability.
  • Effective English language skills both written and verbal.
  • The ability to establish role throughout the organization. Share's knowledge, empowers and gives credit.
  • Establishes trust, credibility, and goodwill.

It would be nice if you had:
  • Experience in applications development / customer experience related program in the Satellite or Telecommunications industry.
  • Worked in an Agile development team environment.
