What you will do - Essential Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

• Guide the team in the design, development, and maintenance of AI-integrated web applications and APIs on the Azure platform using the C# and .NET stack.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to oversee the optimization, implementation, and deployment of machine learning models.
• Set coding and architecture standards, ensuring best practices are consistently followed across the team.

• Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Interface with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business needs into technological solutions.
• Prioritize tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality.
• Identify areas of improvement in the technology stack and processes, making strategic decisions on integrations, refactorings, and the adoption of new technologies.

• Azure Ecosystem Mastery:

• Leverage a deep understanding of Azure services, guiding the team in the effective use of Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Functions, and more.
• Ensure best practices for CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Monitor, optimize, and make strategic decisions concerning resources within the Azure portal.

• Team Growth and Mentorship:

• Facilitate the professional growth of team members through mentoring, feedback, and opportunities.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, encouraging the team to stay updated with the latest in AI, Azure services, and .NET development.
• Lead by example, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills, work ethic, and technical acumen.

Senior Principal Engineers partner with Engineers and Solution Architects to develop solutions and implement standards that ensure an unrivaled customer experience. You are an expert in your craft and seen as a platform and implementation owner. You are an active contributor in the industry and have a passion for continuous learning.

Senior Principal Engineers practice hands-on development, have oversight of the technical tasks of others, and are the owners of the standards and best practices. Our Senior Principal Engineers act as a technical mentor to others and is an expert in supporting multiple areas of the business.

Working collaboratively and creatively as part of a close-knit product team, you will be part of the development process from end to end: consulting users, carrying out experiments, tackling complex business problems and implementing new products. You can balance customer needs with business goals and know how to deliver technical solutions that enhance business value. Qualifications and Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required
• 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated experience with full stack application development, Salesforce custom application design, Apex language, DX, API, and Visual force or Lightning.
• 7+ years of full stack application development experience required.
• 8+ years of experience implementing Salesforce custom applications for sales, service, or business office users using the Apex language.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce custom application design including knowledge of limits, throttling, security, certificates, APIs, etc., on the Salesforce platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of team software development concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate those concepts to junior team members including patterns in the areas of security, scalability, and usability
• Experience in creating and developing software and effectively communicating the rationale behind the designs
• Proven experience with working effectively with multiple areas of the business community in order to gather requirements and translate those requirements into software designs
• Ability to interact with and direct the tasks of outside consultants in a professional manner while helping them drive to successful project completion
• Demonstrated ability to compare and contrast alternative approaches to meet objectives while assessing risk both quantitatively and qualitatively
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center or Dallas Tech Hub in Plano, TX and have a Hybrid work arrangement

Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship will be considered for this specific role.
