Job Description

ASRC Federal, Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.We are seeking highly motivated System Test Engineer Senior to support opportunities to support the Ship Self-Defense System development in Moorestown, NJ.

Responsibilities: Work in a collaborative team providing development and sustainment of Mission Critical Real-Time Systems, performing the following tasks:

• Operate using Agile software delivery methodology.
• Analyzing requirements for integration and/or testability issues.
• Support continuous improvement by refining our testing process.
• Work with multiple cross-functional development team located in AL, CT, NJ, and CA using agile software development methodology
• Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).
• Partnering with Scrum Master to drive continuous improvement within the Agile team.
• Assemble the solution / product elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behavior, interactions, and performance, and to confirm that the requirements against which the solution / product has been designed are fulfilled.
• Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews.
• Researches problems and develops solutions
• Collaborate with and mentor more junior software and integration engineers
• Work alongside the team to increase quality, resiliency, reduce risk, and drive efficiencies in development, release, and operational tasks.

Requirements

• 12+ years' experience in software development, maintenance, engineering or support of large-scale software programs in various languages including C++, Java, and Ada
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related engineering discipline
• Experience utilizing git version control systems, git command-line experience required (additional experience with Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab, etc. preferred)
• Experience utilizing Jira as agile issue tracking system
• Experience refactoring large scale software systems using modern design methods
• Experience utilizing xUnit test frameworks like GoogleTest, pyUnit, and jUnit
• Experience compiling and releasing large-scale software systems in *nix.
• Ability to write detailed test cases and execute testing for a real-time mission critical weapon system.
• Excellent and communication skills required.
• Enthusiastic about software design and test of complex systems.
• Ability to take on projects and operate with minimal oversight.
• Acquainted with Jenkins or similar continuous integration software.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Automated Test methodologies.
• Experience working with and communicating effectively with development teams.
• Strong skills with MS Office.
• US Citizenship to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Aegis/or SSDS combat systems
• Knowledgeable in tactical behaviors of missile and radar operations
