The Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Departments have the responsibility to design, develop, and maintain complex engineering test systems (missile flight simulators) that operate real-time and closed loop with the weapon's hardware and software.

Job Summary:

This position is for a Sr Principal Software Engineer who has the educational and professional experience in the development and implementation of software applications.

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 10 years designing, coding and integrating software for complex systems, or a Master of Science degree in the same type of STEM fields and a minimum of 8 years related software experience.

• Experience architecting, coding and integrating C++ object-oriented software
• Experience with multi-threading and parallel processing C++ software designs
• Experience in developing new software architectures
• Experience leading a team and mentoring software engineers
• Experience with real-time operating environments
• Experience with Linux operating system, or closely related operating systems
• Experience with software configuration management principles and tools (like Git)

Note: Due to the nature of our business, remote work is not possible. Also, up to 20% business travel may be required.
