An exciting time to be at A10 Networks:

The A10 product management team is expanding and defining new software, hardware and SaaS solutions. The solutions architect team is a new team being formed inside the Product Management organization. This team of technical experts will be a source of knowledge for customers, corporate SE and field teams and facilitate customer feedback, working with Engineers, Product Managers, the Corp SE and field SE teams. This team will be the driver that amplifies the efforts of the field SE and Corp SE teams new A10 products are brought into market.

Role Description and Impact to the Business

• Collaborate with the PM team in creating MVP such that all relevant items for customer acceptance are covered. This would include deployment scenarios and integration with 3rd party components.
• Test Early Access and Technology Release code from engineering by deploying all components in the lab for customer experience, completeness of features/capabilities and completeness of documentation.

• Validate use cases with Early Access and Technical Release code and identify if the code is on the path to meet the customer MVP.
• Own the whole creation and dissemination of validated reference. designs, POC guidance templates (suggestions on how to create a PoC with the use case) and notes on how to respond to RFPs.
• Educate customers by developing demo videos and whiteboards.
• For technology partnerships, validate use cases and create the relevant VRD.
• Collaborate with the PM and field teams to suggest partnership opportunities that add value to the A10 solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent skills, and minimum 10+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, or Sales Engineering or Engineering in the networking or data plane market
• Demonstrable experience with ADC products and technologies for private cloud: VMWare stack (vCenter, vRO, NSX-T) and Kubernetes (open source, OpenShift, Rancher).
• Demonstrable experience of public cloud technologies such as EKS, AKS, GKE, Anthos, AWS Outpost, and IaaS and PaaS services in AWS, Azure and GCP.

• Proven, hands-on experience with related technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Azure resource manager templates, Grafana, Prometheus, Open Telemetry, Splunk.
• Knowledge of application security solutions such as NG WAF and API protection.
• Experience in testing VM or container software with working knowledge of ESX, KVM, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, DPDK.
• Experience with testing HW and SW leveraging traffic generators
• Proven prior experience writing validated reference designs (VRDs) and reference architectures.

• Engineering or Engineering in the networking or data plane market.
• Experience working with engineering and sales engineering teams in a high technology company.
• Prior experience working with Product Owners in an Agile/Scrum product delivery environment.
