What you'll achieve

You will be part of a global team serving as a senior member within Dell's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) responsible for a wide range of Dell Technologies products. You will drive improvements and best practices aligned with Service, Quality and our Storage business needs.

You will:

• Collaborate on serviceability investigations, perform strategic analysis of Dell diagnostic capabilities and will develop recommendations to help define the technical hardware product service strategy
• Identify and develop differentiation opportunities, provide technical information, and make recommendations to product management, engineering, internal storage customers and service teams
• Engage with design teams, systems engineering, suppliers, and storage product team leaders to ensure the strategy and architecture meets Dell's Key Performance Indicators
• Develop long-term technical relationships with the various XF teams inclusive of field support and our internal Storage product team; you will be a technical interface and will drive process improvements for enhanced diagnosability into existing and next generation designs
• Participate in strategic initiatives for improvements in process, quality, and cost

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in Hardware, Firmware, Software Design and/or Systems Software
• Deep knowledge of embedded firmware capabilities such as Basic Input Output System (BIOS) and Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) which can benefit field upgradable (FRU) indictment
• Understanding of various related technologies, vendor products and competitor's offerings
• Ability to drive internal and external alignment of a defined strategy
• Excellent communication skills; must be able to conduct presentations to a wide variety of audiences and have the ability to represent the team in basic negotiations with vendors and internal groups

Desired Requirements

• Knowledge of a Storage product technology and system level integration
