Senior Procurement Contracts Specialist

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a collaborative Senior Procurement Contracts Specialist who is passionate about supporting cross-functional teams and negotiating vendor contracts in a high-growth tech environment.

What You'll Do:

In your role, you will provide general support to Bandwidth’s legal, global sourcing, finance, and operations teams to help negotiate new and existing vendor engagements from end-to-end.  You will be a highly visible, impactful member of the legal department and serve as a true legal partner to the business, responsible for a broad range of vendor engagements and critical contract negotiations.  

You will report to the Managing Commercial Attorney of the Commercial Legal Team.

What You Need:

• BA/BS in a related field (JD preferred) with a minimum of 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating various types of vendor agreements ranging from MSAs, SOWs, SaaS, Managed Services, NDAs, Order Forms, and other related terms 
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to analyze, redline, draft, and negotiate complex, large-spend agreements independently or in collaboration with an attorney
• Ability to reference and maintain legal playbooks, guidelines, and processes 
• Ability to assist with the standardization and implementation of global procurement processes, including preparing and maintaining templates and procedural improvements for risk assessment and contract reviews
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and set expectations with internal clients
• Ability to work effectively across organizational, functional and geographic boundaries (i.e., global experience)
• Possess a basic understanding of privacy law and applications to various vendor engagements in a highly regulated industry
• Proficiency with contract management systems, salesforce.com, and/or other contract lifecycle management systems, Microsoft and Google Suites and excellent organization skills
• Experience with the telecommunications sector / telecom carriers preferred
