About the Role:
Demandbase is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Procurement Specialist to join our expanding team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play an integral role in shaping and supporting our procurement processes and technology. Your primary focus will be on implementing technology, driving efficiency, and ensuring smooth operations across the organization. Engaging in cross-departmental collaboration, you will work closely with FP&A, IT, and Legal to ensure seamless procurement capabilities. Key responsibilities include technology management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and data analytics. In this role, you will report directly to our Procurement Senior Manager.
The base compensation for this role is: $82,394 - $123,590.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Technology Transformation: Contribute to the design, execution, and management of procurement technology transformation initiatives, with a focus on the successful deployment of a new source-to-pay (S2P) technology solution.
- Travel Program: Oversee the organization-wide travel program, refining our policies, enhancing training initiatives, and streamlining reporting processes for optimal efficiency.
- Change Management: Create accessible training materials, user-friendly support content, and concise quick reference guides to facilitate seamless adoption of procurement initiatives
- Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with our team to enhance relationships with both new and existing suppliers, optimizing value and performance.
- Negotiation: Efficiently and effectively negotiate optimal pricing and terms to achieve savings objectives, reduce risk, and maintain compliance within the procurement process.
- Data & Reporting: Contribute to organization-wide procurement reporting by conducting thorough data analysis and identifying key insights.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-6 years of experience in procurement in one or more of the following areas: strategic sourcing, negotiation, procurement technology, contract management, procure to pay process (P2P), supplier relationship management.
- Top-notch communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills, including experience manipulating data to derive insights for senior management or executives.
- Self-starter with the ability to own projects from initial inquiry to completion.
- Good overall project manager, able to prioritize and execute efficiently, adapting to various responsibilities to achieve results in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable and solution-oriented, with the ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly.
- Prior high tech industry experience, especially in helping companies grow and scale.
- Experience with designing, implementing, or managing procurement technology (preferred: Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua).
