Job Description

Our software is used by thousands of hospital departments around the world to automatically generate the most optimized physician work schedules to accommodate complex business rules and accurately schedule the appropriate medical provider based on their skill level, specialty, availability, and preferences.
Role Overview:
In your role as a Senior Product Analyst, you will play an integral role on our Product Team by analyzing complex business problems and then designing, documenting and presenting solutions.
Responsibilities:Β
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions and customer discoveries to understand the real business challenges and requirements
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria to present to the Development Team on a weekly basis
- Serve as the subject matter expert for user stories and their acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with UX team to generate muck-ups needed for stories involving UI/UX changes and new features
- Pull in cross-functional resources and help facilitate design sessions and user testing as needed
- Break down epics into stories and create story maps which detail sprint prioritization and dependencies
- Work with Product Managers in translating epics into user stories to design a solution to address the real needs of stakeholders
- Lead the story breakdown process, including the Story Review and Story Time meetings to explain requirements to the Development Team and facilitate story sizing/estimation.
- Maintain a groomed backlog of stories prioritized according to their business value and technical effort. The product backlog should always be full of enough written and sized user stories to occupy the next 2+ sprints
- Participate in daily/weekly Agile Scrum ceremonies and meetings such as Daily Standup, Scrum of Scrums, and other meetings scheduled to manage sprint delivery
- Serve as the subject matter expert for user stories and their acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with UX team to generate mock-ups needed for stories involving UI/UX changes and new features
- Pull in cross functional resources and help facilitate design sessions and user testing as needed
- Assist Product Owners with market requirements gathering, epic prioritization, epic estimation, and other strategic activities to gain necessary knowledge to be capable of eventually assuming a Product Owner role
- Assist Product Owners in commercialization of new products
- Mentor Product Analysts and other new team members
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience planning and creating user stories for a consumer-facing and/or SaaS product
- Experience generating UI mockups or working closely with a UI/UX team to generate a visual representation of new features
- Experience with agile software management tools (JIRA, VersionOne, etc.).Β
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and upbeat personality
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and manage multiple projects
- 2-3 yearsβ experience as a Product Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role, within an agile scrum team, OR 3+ years in a QGenda Customer Success role
- Bachelor's degree from a major university
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with healthcare-related products and UI/UX design is a plus
