We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst with a passion for developing and sharing expertise on property and casualty insurance coverages to join the Personal Lines and Ag Product team. In this role you will assist in providing superior insurance products for customers and target markets to support company growth and profitability. This is accomplished in coordination with department staff, other business units and vendors to develop and implement new products and product changes. What You'll Do:

  • Conduct research and analysis of competitor products and emerging risks, compared to currently offered products.
  • Develop written proposals recommending new products and changes to existing products, with input from other stakeholders, and assist in presenting proposed changes to leadership for consideration and approval.
  • Draft policy language for coverage forms and endorsements, and develop customer letters, insurance applications and manual rules.
  • Support the implementation of product changes, serving as subject matter expert in the establishment of business requirements for IT programming and print teams.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for other departments, including the underwriting, actuarial, claims, and sales teams.
  • Review and provide input on marketing materials, website content and staff training materials to ensure that product information is accurately communicated.
  • Perform research of insurance product laws and regulations to ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and assist with the filing of coverage forms and manuals with state regulators.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • Bachelor's degree plus five or more years of property and casualty insurance experience, with an emphasis in underwriting, claims, or product development. Experience with agribusiness or farm and ranch accounts is also beneficial.
  • CPCU, CIC and/or AFIS designations, or progress toward completion of industry education
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to exercise independent judgment in decision making
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills are essential to support coverage form drafting and presentations to leadership and other teams
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and priorities, and interact professionally and effectively in a team environment
