Job Summary
The Senior Product Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the effective management of a product portfolio. They will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in all aspects of their product. The Senior Product Analyst will effectively lead and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Product Subject Matter Expert
- Represent the Product internally and on behalf of the Product Manager/Director as required/requested.
- Represent the Product externally across clients and other industry stakeholders
- Develop presentation and training content for conferences and other venues where Surescripts Product knowledge is requested
- Act as a liaison between technical, commercial, product and platform teams
- Develop and maintain both internal and external reference guides and documentation for support and technical teams
- Provide mentorship and training to other internal Product stakeholders
- Actively engage in external standards development bodies, including leading standards working groups.
- Manage and continuously improve product operations
- Develop materials to support monthly executive operational and technical reviews. Manage reviews with tight, focused storylines (bullets/information) and supporting metrics/graphics.
- Monitor product effectiveness and operational metrics, and drive action across the organization when issues or improvement opportunities are identified.
- Define and own product operational processes, including: researching, documenting and prioritizing Support tickets (Salesforce, ServiceNow), prioritizing development work for technical agile teams, working with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues on a timely manner, etc.
- Launch new products
- Ensure successfully developed products by collaborating with technical agile teams, commercial teams and customers.
- Work with customers as the owner, client champion, and point of coordination for all Betas, Pilot versions, Early Adopter programs and General Availability products.
- Lead primary research, including user interviews & analysis, survey writing & analysis, observation & field visits, user feedback analysis to clarify product requirements, simplify deployment process, ensure supportability, and increase utilization.
- Ensure completion of various milestones throughout the development phase of a new product or feature (ex: User Acceptance Testing).
- Facilitate successful product General Availability (GA) rollout, monitor performance, and troubleshoot all issues collaboratively across Support, Development and Customer Teams.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in related, progressive roles
- 5+ years health information technology experience, for example: EHRs, HIEs, Public Health or Health Care Providers
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst or Technical Customer Support
- 3+ years of experience using advanced functions in productivity/analytic tools (i.e., Microsoft Access, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Conversant in the product lifecycle (Ideate, Evaluate, Develop, Launch)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using reporting systems (ie Tableau, Salesforce, Crystal Reports, etc.)
- Training or experience in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, or Human Factors
- Understanding of basic XML coding
- Experience with industry standards such as NCPDP, HL7, FHIR
- Understanding of product development lifecycles and agile development principals
- Experience with Aha! for Product Management
