How you will contribute
Working independently, you will lead technical work across multiple projects aligned with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will also lead activities designed to generate appropriate process & product information using modelling and simulation, and pilot plant scale up and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will be involved with/lead process & product design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning and will ensure the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. This position requires you to manage stakeholders and to influence decisions based on data analysis and interpretation of results; create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications; leverage connections to internal and external technical communities and create intellectual property that gives Mondelēz International a competitive advantage.

- Process & Product development and/or process- & product deployment ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods environment
- Leading project teams and influencing cross-functional teams.

- Understanding equipment design and manufacturing processes to support process specifications.
- Using technical data to influence stakeholders.

- Plan and execute work plans, including development of risk assessments and contingency plans.
- Analyze results of experiments and translate them into actionable recommendations independently.
- Possess a strong knowledge of the commercialization process.
- Efficiently utilize necessary resources to achieve timely delivery of project objectives.
Qualifications: • BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.• Minimum of 5 yrs. Experience in Food/CPG process and/or product development.• Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity.• Ability to develop, plan for, and carry out plant trials.• Able to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor: conduct appropriate testing, gather, and analyze data, and develop recommendations based on findings.• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and manage complexity- from bench top to commercialization.• Participate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.• Write process specifications that deliver consistent, high-quality products across numerous manufacturing facilities.• Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.• Travel up to 40% to locations in Canada, US, and Mexico
