Senior Product Associate, Data

The Role

We are looking for a product associate with a strong technical background, agile business analysis skills and a proven track record of delivering great digital products in the financial technology space.  The ideal candidate will take ownership of a suite of exciting products within our Data team and provide direction and ensure delivery.

How You'll Help Take Us There

• Translate business and technical requirements into user stories, elicit NFRs and create artefacts needed to describe the solutions intent
• Work closely with other internal stakeholders, especially other data and trading Product Specialist and Managers
• Prioritize the backlog of work to supports the execution of the Product strategy
• Showcase progress to large stakeholder groups through demos and walkthroughs
• Work in an Agile at scale environment, providing product ownership and business analysis capability on one or more Scrum teams
• Demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving and a strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate ability to arbitrate between competing stakeholder needs
• Play an active role in the Product and BA community, helping to grow our capability in these areas

What We’re Looking for  

• 2+ years working across PO/BA roles in Financial Technology
• Experience with Fixed income trading is a plus
• Recent experience of OMS/EMS API integration with trading venues
• Fundamental understanding of database design, including working knowledge of SQL
• Experience of operating in Agile at scale on multi team, multi-site initiatives
• Experience in Agile delivery techniques, processes, practices and tooling
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Slack
• Experience in continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is £70,000 GBP to £85,000 GBP. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives and other benefit programs.
