Senior Product Data Analyst

• Drive product impact by proposing and conducting quantitative research into key user behaviors and business trends, in partnership with product managers, engineers, designers, and other team members
• Building automated data processes to power real-time dashboards, and building self-service reporting tools to enable others to leverage the data.
• Creating analytical frameworks to enable efficient product experimentation, and working closely with engineers on instrumentation to ensure thorough capture of product data.
• Defining metrics for measuring product success, and creating the tools to effectively track and troubleshoot said metrics.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify product gaps, evangelizing data insights to key stakeholders and defining our product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in a relevant role
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistics and statistical software (e.g., Python, R, SPSS, Stata), and fluency in data visualization
• Experience with Product Analytics platforms Amplitude, Pendo, Heap, Quantum Metric, Google Analytics (Mixpanel experience a huge plus)
• Strong SQL skills (i.e. proven ability to tap into and extract insights from our data pipeline)
• Strong communication skills with a growth and learning mindset
• Ability to translate data into insights for a non-technical audience
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with BI tools like Looker
• Salesforce data
• Experience running A/B tests and a strong understanding of hypothesis testing
• Experience in text and/or time-series analytics

Benefits

Compensation: Perceptyx is focused on equitable pay for all our staff and aims for transparency with our pay practices. This position has a base salary range of $80,000 to $100,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
