Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Material Bank's success by creating end-to-end experiences that drive business growth and engage our users. We're looking to find the right balance between user needs and business goals, and create a personalized, engaging experience for everyone who starts using our product, helping them have an aha moment and turn it into a habit-forming experience. By applying data-driven design and user engagement mechanics to the development of solutions, you will be able to see and measure the impact of your solutions.

What you'll do:

• You will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and many different teams and product areas across Material Bank varying with each project.
• You will bring big picture and strategic topics to life through collaboration, creativity and craft. By exploring ambiguous topics, you’ll make the future tangible to fuel the vision of internal teams, customers, or partners.
• You will use a variety of skills and frameworks. Since every project is different, our approach is adaptable to best meet the needs. While strong foundational UX skills are a must, experience conducting user research, workshop facilitation, and experience balancing the big picture with a strong love of craft will help you succeed.
• You will collaborate with engineers to reach high-quality, delightful and bug-free products.
• You will advise cross-functional teams on UX best practices and aligning business goals with optimal Design solutions
• You will work in tandem with product managers to establish requirements and success criteria for new product launches and features.
• You will work with Product leadership on developing a living strategic roadmap for the B2B business

What you'll bring:

• You have worked on ambiguous strategic projects, are able to create clarity amid uncertainty, and can guide team members through such projects.
• You have experience designing and delivering coherent customer experiences by partnering with stakeholders and other designers to develop remarkable solutions that challenge the status quo.
• You love designing innovative technology products and place humans at the center of your design process — ensuring that geeky tech and forward-looking experience design always serves real human needs.
• You have a solid range of design skills in your ever growing toolkit– including user research, workshop facilitation, UX and UI design– to ensure fluid and holistic customer journeys.
• You have specific experience in the B2B space and designing for scalability and key new feature development
• Experience using user research to validate design concepts and measure success.
• Experience working with Figma, Notion, and Linear
• Experience with hi-fi prototyping tools like Origami, ProtoPie, or Justinmind.
