Jar also effortlessly facilitates investments by enabling users to save while they spend, utilizing our round-off method, like a digital piggy bank.

Founded by Misbah Ashraf, former founder of community-focused e-commerce platform Marsplay, and Nishchay AG, former director and founding member at mobility start-up Bounce, Jar's unwavering mission is to shatter psychological barriers to saving and investing, thus spearheading the Financial Fitness revolution for Bharat.

Nek is an affordable luxury jewellery brand that is powered by Jar. It is the culmination of what we know best; affordability, the value of gold, and crafting incredible connections. Nek's wide collection of silver and gold jewellery is made with meticulous artisanship to celebrate you and find the magic in every occasion.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Product Designer, you are a proficient individual contributor who is also able to provide design guidance to the design team members. You are responsible for ensuring you work well cross-functionally with PM and Engineering to deliver high-quality work and meet deadlines. 
• As an individual contributor, this means: Setting up research plans assessing trade-offs between research methods and employing suitable methods based on research plan objectives
• Conducting discovery work and communicating research findings in a clear and informative way
• Breaking down problems and giving clarity to undefined problem spaces
• Developing ideas into elegant designs and interactive prototypes based on a defined set of design principles
• Pay a high level of attention to details in the design
• Building mockups and prototypes to illustrate different design approaches
• Testing early designs with users and iterating on their feedback
• Defining and determining the overall aesthetics and visual styles of the product
• Creating detailed user interface specifications
• Guiding engineers in their implementation of your designs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design or a related field,
• A portfolio featuring digital design work enclosing in-depth case studies and a clean/modern design thought process
• Experience shipping mobile digital products and D2C portals/ modules preferably in gaming, fintech domain
• Demonstrated expertise with modern design, prototyping and collaboration tools (such as Figma and Miro)
• Awareness of data and research methodologies and ability to conduct or partner with research experts
• Proficiency in building metric-based-apps through data visualization Excellent collaboration and influential skills
• Able to work well in a large organization with many partners
• Able to articulate and defend design decisions with grace, logic and data
• Able to translate technical requirements into simple, engaging designs
