Job Summary

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of eMed’s digital platforms. From ideation to execution, you will design intuitive, user-centered interfaces that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • ​​​Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and evaluate user requirements.
  • Design responsive, pixel-perfect graphic user interface elements, including menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Develop UI mockups, wireframes, and prototypes that bring ideas to life and clearly illustrate functionality.
  • Create and maintain detailed user flows, design systems, and style guides to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Conduct usability testing and incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design improvements.
  • Work cross-functionally to align product design with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, articulating design choices and strategies clearly.
  • Continuously optimize and improve existing designs to meet evolving user needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools.
  • Support junior designers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Tools:

  • Expertise in design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience maintaining or using design systems.

  • Proficient in responsive web design and an understanding of front-end frameworks.

  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and team members.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Familiarity with usability testing tools and methods (e.g., Maze, UserTesting).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for creating functional prototypes.

  • Experience in healthcare or a related industry.

  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and mobile design projects
