Senior Product Designer

As a Senior Product Designer at Tava, your work will directly impact our clients, therapists, and customers. We’re looking for someone who is invigorated by our mission, who will connect on a deep level with our users, and who will push the boundaries to create a next-level experience at each and every interaction.

• Autonomous and self-driven work. We’re big on collaboration, but we hire smart people who know how to pick apart a problem on their own, and who recognize deep inside, that asking for help makes the outcome better for all.
• Lead UX research for each project. This will include user outreach and recruiting, as well as carrying out all research and synthesis.
• Sketch, wireframe, and ideate potential solutions to problems individually, and with a collaborative team of product thinkers.
• Design final mockups with impeccable visual design, motion design, and interaction design details that align with, and elevate the design language of the Tava brand.
• Collaborate with a PM and your dev team from discovery through delivery to land on the best experience. Many projects will also require collaboration across the business with our operations team, clinical team, and sales team.
• Contribute to and evangelize for our growing design system.
• Practice and evangelize empathy for all users, stakeholders, and coworkers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product design experience
• Excellent product thinker
• Strong design foundation in both UI (interaction, visual) and UX (user research, analysis, information architecture, wireframing)
• Experience conducting all forms of research (discovery interviews, contextual inquiry, prototype tests, live A/B tests, and survey writing)
• Ability to both provide and receive design criticism constructively, and appreciation for its importance within the design process
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a clean visual aesthetic and strong eye for detail
• User-centered/business savvy
• Growth mindset with an eagerness to discover and use every strength you possess
• Hungry to learn from everyone around you
