We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our growing team. This person will support the team with all the assets that engineers and product will need: such as user flow, case stories and research, wireframes and high fidelity screen design. Working with other designers to make sure we are building a consistent interface and experience leveraging and contributing to our Design System.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Design features that fit within the larger experience and Odeko processes and procedures.
- Define and contribute to research initiatives (usability tests, surveys, interviews, and so on) alongside UX Researchers and Product Managers.
- Elevate the design culture in the overall team, crafting an outstanding user experience
- Help establish and refine adoption of our product design standards by developing a deep understanding of our customers and their goals
- Support the product team in envisioning the future of our applications and help to create and maintain our product vision
- Help track and measure user experience performance across all the applications
About you:
- 5+ years of experience designing native mobile application and web-based application user interfaces from concept to production
- Strong user empathy and an advocate for users who works to deeply understand and communicate their needs
- Ability for solving complex product design problems
- Ability to track user interaction performance across all the app (native and web-based) using the tools on our disposal
- Strong attention to detail and drive towards consistency
- Ability to prototype an interface or a mock application to validate an experience
- Ability to synthesize
- Experience with mentoring and motivating other designers
- Ability to use necessary tools to create prototypes and usability tests to validate designs and user experience flows
- Strong communication skills with cross-functional experience
Bonus Points:
- Prototyping skills, with or without coding experience
- Experience designing products for small business owners, specifically cafe managers, owners, baristas etc. (our customer base)
